The Regal Ancestor Spirit is my favorite boss ever. The atmosphere, music, the design, it is all beautifully crafted. When I met the second one, I thought it was the same ancestral spirit as before, but this one was different. It killed me. Over and over again. However, something kept me going. I felt like it was the first real test of my ability. I found all bosses easy before this one, I was underlevelled. After every defeat, I understood it a little bit more. This made me empathize with it. I didn’t want the fight to end. I wanted this to be an eternal spar, I wanted to battle it for the rest of the ages. When I finally got to half of his health bar, like it understood what I wanted, it just rose up and healed. Over and over again it healed, extending our meeting. Every try I would inch closer to defeating it. I was distracted by the beauty and life of it, but then... I finally defeated it. After a dozen or so tries. I felt… sad. It felt like I killed the last member of an ancient species. I felt empty and undeserving. But life sprouts from death, as it does from birth. Such is the way of the living.

i'm really hoping this track for the game is an early version of what the final one will sound like. It sound's unfinished and a tad bit generic.

You know a game is gonna be good when its trailer has some of the best guitar riffs of all time.

I touch the skull of a dead deer and it teleports me to a cellar. I see the yellow smoke portal and think "aah, boss in sight, what a surprise... "without expecting much. Then I get an artistic slap in the face. Already with the LORE that this spirit gives off, like so many, I thought to myself: wait, am I doing something wrong? But also because of the music playing in the background, which is divine! All this gave me a feeling of beauty and grace as I was slaughtering him with a Katana. I definitely had confirmation that Elden Ring was a great game at that precise moment in my adventure

We need to find out who's composing the OST for The Dark Ages. My best bet would be Andrew Hulshult since he's already working with Bethesda. Though if not, it would be really cool if they got somebody from the argent metal community like Geoffrey Day (geoffplaysguitar).
